Scott A. Blum, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Blum is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he received first-rate training in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Blum completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with UMDNJ. Dr. Blum has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
Dr. Blum retired from US Air Force after more than 42 years of military service. He started his military career in the U.S. Air force in 1983 as a dental assistant. He joined the New Jersey Air National Guard four years later as a weapons loader in the 108th Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.
Dr. Blum loaded ordnance on F-4 “Phantom” aircraft. In 1991, the 108th Fighter Wing changed missions and became the 108th Air Refueling Wing with KC135 “Stratotankers,” and he transferred to the 108th Medical Group later becoming the NCOIC of the dental clinic. In 1997, MSgt Blum became a Health Services Administrator and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant. Dr Blum completed his DMD and recommissioned as a dentist, later becoming the Chief of Dental Services and finally the 108th Medical Group Commander. He finished his military career assigned to the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, VA assigned as Assistant to The Joint Surgeon General for Global Health Engagement, State Partnership Program and International Health Specialist Program. He is proud to have faithfully and honorably served our Nation and the Great State of New Jersey.
Aileen Valencia, DMD
Dr. Aileen Valencia was born and raised in South Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomathematics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and later her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2010. She went on to complete her general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she received advanced training in a variety of dental disciplines (prosthodontics, implantology, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry), while providing dental work for medically-compromised, pediatric, and developmentally disabled patients. When she’s not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, watching movies, and trying out new local restaurants.
Leo Yu, DMD
A distinguished alumnus of Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Leo Yu’s journey in oral health care has been marked by continuous learning and clinical excellence.
As a firm believer in the importance of staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, Dr. Yu consistently seeks out opportunities for continuing education. By attending seminars, workshops, and conferences, he remains well-versed in the latest advancements, allowing him to offer state-of-the-art solutions to his patients.
Dr. Yu’s expertise shines particularly in endodontics, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry, where he has garnered a reputation for achieving remarkable results. His comprehensive approach to patient care ensures that every individual receives tailored treatments that align with their oral health goals and unique needs.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Yu enjoys making music, cooking, and spending time with his wife and very cute cat.
CECILIA A. BERMUDEZ, DMD
Dr. Cecilia Bermudez was born and raised in Venezuela in a family of healthcare professionals and was drawn to dentistry at a young age. She graduated with distinction from the University of Carabobo, and her early career spanned several countries including Venezuela, Peru, and Chile. After relocating to the United States as a political refugee, Dr. Bermudez attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in their coveted Program for Advanced Standing Students and graduated with honors. Her mission is to provide sophisticated, compassionate care to patients of all backgrounds. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is especially passionate about mentoring the next generation of Latin and Hispanic professionals in dentistry.
Leeann Reider, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist; CPR certified
Leeann has been treating patients for over 20 years since graduating from Camden County College’s dental hygiene program; Leeann joined the practice in 2010. She currently lives in Cherry Hill with her husband and daughter. Leeann is a life-long Phillies fan and likes to take pictures and scrapbook in her spare time.
Ashlee McHugh, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist; CPR certified.
Ashlee graduated Camden County College’s dental hygiene program and joined the practice in October 2014. She likes to explore the outdoors and is always looking for a new trail to hike. She enjoys practicing yoga, with goals of becoming a yoga instructor to compliment her career as a hygienist. In her spare time, Ashlee likes to travel and plans to visit every state in the U.S.
Angela Soos, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist; CPR Certified.
Angela graduated in 1995 from NYU’s dental hygiene program then went to receive her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Health Education at New York University College of Dentistry. She has devoted her time building strong relationships with her patients and is committed to making hygiene appointments a positive experience. She loves educating her patients on their overall oral health and believes that creating a healthy oral environment leads to overall better health. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, taking continuing education classes, and spending time with her husband and four children.
Natalie Szabo, CDA
Certified Dental Assistant; CPR certified.
Natalie brings over 25 years of experience to the office. Her professionalism makes her patients relaxed and comfortable and allows the doctors’ procedures to flow smoothly. She lives in Mt. Laurel with her partner Karen. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors, golfing, dancing, and traveling.
Jenny Eberly, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant; CPR Certified
Jenny brings over 30 years of dental assisting experience to the practice. Having grown up in Roebling, she is excited to be back serving the community that shaped her. Jenny’s calming presence, attention to detail, work ethic, and extensive clinical knowledge makes her a valued member of our team. When not at work, Jenny enjoys spending time with her kids, hiking, listening to music, and taking weekend getaways.
PATRICIA (TRISH) BLUM, RN
Office Manager/Registered Nurse; CPR certified
In addition to being Dr. Blum’s spouse, Trish is responsible for the daily office operations. She manages and coordinates all administrative and personnel functions. They have a son, Tyler, and she enjoys reading and traveling the world.
JENNIFER REYNOLDS
Administration/Dental Assistant/Licensed in dental radiology; CPR certified
Born and raised in Florence Twp., Jennifer has been with the practice since its inception in 2002. She is the first person that you will meet as she will greet you with her lovely smile and warm and welcoming personality. She manages the reception desk and also performs dental assisting duties. She lives in Eastampton with her husband, Ken, and two children, Jordan and Kenny, and Greater Swiss Mountain dog, Lando. In her spare time, Jennifer attends/coaches her children’s sports activities.
